Moroccan Rhassoul Lava Clay
Product no.: 1027
Description
Formed millions of years ago by volcanic magma and hydro-thermal action, Rhassoul is widely acknowledged as the king of clays. From just a single source in the Atlas mountains, the precious clay is hand dug and washed. In harmony with its natural crystal structure, the clay is then laid for a day and night under the sun and moon to energise and dry.
Even today Rhassoul is the most important element of the hammam bathing ritual practised across North Africa and it is considered the special preserve of the nomadic Berber tribes. It is no wonder that Berber women are so renowned for their beauty.
As perfect for tribal living as for the 21st century lifestyle, Rhassoul is easy to use. So effective and versatile, you will wonder how you ever managed without it.
